Tim and Valerie Heath are our Pastors here at the Northwest Assembly of God. They moved here in the
Summer of 2001 with their family from Palm Springs California, where they were Senior Pastors for 7 years. The Heath's
have been in active ministry for over 25 years. Tim is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University and
has a Masters from the International Bible Seminary. He is also an endorsed Law Enforcement Chaplain with
the Arizona Highway Patrol. He was saved in the early 70's during the Jesus Movement. His hobbies include jogging,
jamming on his guitar, playing a round of golf, munching on a Canadian bacon pizza, and hiking South Mountain on a hot
desert day.
Valerie has a B.A. in Music from S.A.G.U. and a graduate level, Multi Subject Educational Certification from
Chapman University. She teaches elementary music for the Cartwright school district. She plays the keyboard and
is a gifted vocalist, teacher and counselor here at the Church. She grew up right here in Arizona and enjoys reading
a good book, working out, and taking our dog Skippy for an evening walk.
The Heaths have two adult children; Josh who is married, lives in Palm Springs California with his wife
Roxie, (Soon to be a grad. student at Regent Law in Virginia Beach) and Tiffany who is a Sophomore Elementary ed.
major at G.C.U. They both are gifted and serve in their perspective churches.
